The sunflower honey is not our home product, it comes from the Balkans. Natural sunflower honey, being free of chemical improvement agents, crystallizes within the average of 10 days. The process of honey crystallization does not affect its chemical composition nor its nutritional and medicinal properties, it is rather the evidence of high glucose content and good quality of the product (contrary to the popular belief that, when crystallized, honey turns into sugar). Crystallization causes honey to change its colour to a brighter tinge. Sunflower honey is soft, delicate, with no hard lumps in it.
